Dropped stars because 2 of 4 dishes were lukewarm and the drinks, although really good, were super small. As an example, my Old Fashion had one of those trendy 1 cube ice cubes, which almost didn't fit in the glass. For a smile, I pulled the cube and there was not even a legit pour. Everybody enjoyed the fufu drinks, which the server said they are known for, but 2 sips and they were gone. Additionally this is one of those restaurants that serves beer in small glasses but charges for a Pint. They have more than 5 taps, so I was looking forward to a Pint of something tasty the the owner might have tried and picked. A bit of a let down. The food was unique and good, might go back, but will have to visit somewhere else first or start at home just to keep the bill down.

Excellent bar/restaurant that is upscale and stylish while still retaining a casual vibe- drink prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Definitely one of the better bars in Capitol Hill to visit (especially if you are looking for a more upscale/mature vibe than a lot of the other bars in Capitol Hill)

My friend got fish and ”creamy” polenta. The Polenta was a hard mound 5 times the size of the fish. It was bizarre and not good. The other two dishes we got were so-so. The ambiance was nice and the servers were kind. I would consider returning for drinks and appetizers but don't think I'd go for dinner again.

Cool vibe and building. Drinks were fun. Food was a little sad for the price. Steak was chewy and definitely more rare than the requested medium. The fries, while somehow still relatively crispy on the outside, were weirdly firm on the inside. My girlfriend tried their special, the rockfish and polenta, which was just fine - edible but nothing to be excited about..

Minh our sever was so attentive and lovely and made the experience overall so much more joyous my friend was going through a breakup and Minh so graciously checked on us on the side to make sure they were okay. Ambiance was great food amazing drinks solid :)

Going to Herb & Bitter Public House was an excellent experience. The cocktails were solid and the staff was friendly, but the fried chicken was perfection. I could drink the Snoqualmie Pass over and over again the root beer and anise are the perfect marriage.

Loved the space, even when it was early, 4pm on a Saturday, and not a lot of other people there, the atmosphere still felt cozy. Mixed reviews in the fries, wine was good, beer selection could be better, they didn’t seem to have anything on draft that would be served in a full pint. Service was pretty slow for how dead it was, but she was nice and competent when she came to our table. Just don’t like having to ask the bartender for ketchup if we are supposed to have a server. I assume the server is also being used for food prep or something, they might be better off having the bartender double as server since they are in the front still.

Oh my God, what a neat space. The music, the decor, and the ambience. The food was amazing and the cocktails were so fun (and delicious)! It's definitely on my list of places to return to. Was a great place to spend my wedding anniversary with my husband.

It was New Year's eve at 7pm. The place was packed and the kitchen was a bit backed up due to the rush. Despite it being the busiest I've ever seen, the staff continued to provide the highest quality service, food and drink. Amazing place and amazing team!

Went for NYE dinner with friends. Fantastic experience. They had a smaller menu which ensured great quality food that came in a timely manner. Exceptional cocktails and even though it was busy the service was phenomenal.

The food was really good. The only thing was I got a very different drink from what I ordered. I think the bartender took some creative liberties. But I was able to send it back for something else. We would go back, and would recommend to friends ?

The short braised rib gnocchi was amazing. Unfortunately the service wasn't great, our waitress kept servicing other tables and walking past ours, but I'm sure she was just having an off day. Food was well priced for what you get, cocktails seemed a little overpriced to me for what you get. Overall a great spot for a date night.
