When I first moved to Seattle a few years ago, the Maui specality roll, a deep fried spicy tuna roll topped with seaweed salad was the first thing I tried at Star. It's not what I get every time, since there are enough other items on the menu I like—try the Assorted Poki Salad, Steak Wrapped Asparagus, and of course, the staple Tsuivan Pan Fried Noodles—but it's always a roll I crave. Great food and ambience, super friendly staff. I wish the kitchen paid attention to specifics of the order, I specifically asked to not have a condiment on my dishes and all of it came with it.
