Plenty of beer, wine, and fish here although I wasn’t impressed by my thickly battered cod but everything was decent and their burgers look good. Service and environment was sleepy but comfortable

I arrived at 8:25 pm and was denied service. Apparently, open until 9 means get there by 8 or no luck.

The staff were nice and friendly. The meal was prep very well, and the dining area was nice and clean.

Outdoor seating, good pub food, good service.
I ordered Fish & Chips, I loved that they came with some crudité just wish the fish was a bit more brown and crispy.

Meh across the board. Walked in without a sign of where to go or any eye contact or acknowledgement. I asked if I should just sit anywhere. That was about the extent of my contact with the server—fine because orders were otherwise quick to come out.
Drink list is pretty good, but my food was bland and the sauces were no help. Calamari was rubbery with a light, under-seasoned, beer batter. The cod was fresh and flaky, but the breading was so cardboard-bland. The fries were fine, I guess, with a little bit of flavorless cheese sprinkled on it. The tartar sauce was not zingy enough to help the cod. I ordered some cocktail sauce, and again, very ketchupy, with almost no horseradish. Malt vinegar and salt were my only saving flavor elements. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things on the menu?
Free and ample parking. The patio seems decent. The inside tables are sticky, and the menus were dirty and grease-stained. There’s swag for sale, so I assume there is a fan base for get knows something I don’t about this place’s appeal.
I think I’d just rather go to Chinooks. The casual atmosphere that differentiates itself from the other restaurant on this block doesn’t hold up to the food quality.

I visited for a birthday lunch with my adult children. I had blue corn tacos. The filling was good, but the shell was too delicate for the filling. The tacos fell apart. My kids said their food and drinks were "tasty".
We ordered a Creme brulee for dessert. It was good. For some reason, they topped it with powdered sugar. It covered the beautiful, carmalized crust and was completely unnecessary.
We sat on the outdoor patio - it feels like typical sidewalk seating - Metal tables and chairs and some patio umbrellas.
The food was good. The drinks were good. The service was good. We'll go back.

Walked in a half-hour before published closing time and was told they shuttered early. Call before you drive across town to go there!
I got the fish and chips and we shared the ceviche. Really "meh" all around. The food wasn't bad, but I wouldn't describe it as good either. I think the price point is far too expensive for what you get.

Been coming here for many years. The place has gone downhill the last couple years. Service has gotten much worse and food not the same. Sad.

They made a post clearly stating they’d be open on a holiday, so my wife and I ubered over. When we got there and they were closed it was extremely frustrating

Had the chowder and salad, it was very good, but the chowder could have been hotter.

Seven of us had lunch there after a group cycling outing. The service was efficient, and everyone enjoyed the food. We were not offered separate checks, which made paying awkward.

I like the highliner a lot, I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. Recently the prices have skyrocketed and it's a little off putting. I realize prices are crazy everywhere in Seattle but this one hits close to home as an Interbay/lower magnolia resident. I'll still go from time to time but I think they could benefit from bringing prices down a bit. Just my 2 cents.
