This was the perfect dinner spot on our way back home from some errands. We had our baby with us and we’re always on the lookout for a family friendly spot and this definitely was! We were greeted with super smiley and friendly staff, waving at our baby and making her laugh. The restaurant was clean and they had an extensive menu of delicious options. The beef yakisoba was filled with veggies and a generous portion of meat. Highly recommend this gem in Lake City!

This used to be my go to neighborhood teriyaki spot but the quality has gone down dramatically and the prices have gone up drastically. Maybe they are under new ownership? The chicken is no longer cooked with a seer and lakes flavor and the gyoza are barely cooked at all. They still have free soup but it’s not the same. It’s a red soup now.
What used to be a “Lunch Special” for $12 not that long ago is now a “House Special” $17. I understand prices for everything have gone up but thats like 40%

Ordered to go on Labor Day and was blown away from the moment I walked in the door. The person taking my order was so friendly and helped me pick out my order (spicy chicken!). After ordering I was offered a free bowl of hot and sour soup while I waited. It was delicious! Right before I was leaving I was also given a package of cookies. I was so appreciative! The food was amazing! Large portions and very delicious. Great service and great food. Highly recommend

A Fantastic Bento Box Experience Under New Ownership at Himitsu Teriyaki! My recent visit to Himitsu Teriyaki was a delightful one, and it's clear the new owner and staff are doing an incredible job! The bento box I ordered was a true highlight, showcasing their commitment to quality and presentation. The presentation was excellent, with each component neatly arranged in its own section of the box, displaying a vibrant array of colors and textures. The star of the meal was the perfectly cooked salmon teriyaki. It was flaky, tender, and coated in a delicious, savory glaze that wasn't too overpowering. The shrimp tempura was crispy and light, a wonderful contrast to the rich salmon. I also really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki; the meat was juicy and flavorful, complementing the fluffy white rice. The fresh salad with its light dressing and the side of corn added a nice touch of freshness and balance to the hearty proteins. The menu board offered a huge variety of options, from teriyaki and fried rice to yakisoba and stir-fry, all of which looked amazing. This spot is a definite gem, offering great food, generous portions, and a wide selection. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try another one of their specialties, and I highly recommend supporting the new team!

I’ve been to A LOT of teriyaki places, and for the amount of options this place has been one of the best we’ve had. Complimentary soup that was excellent, wonderful friendly service from the owner himself, delicious food with huge portions, and they were SO accommodating and sweet with our toddler giving him a juice and a candy. Highly highly recommend if you’re looking for a teriyaki place go here!!

Regular here. Ignore the 1-star review bombs. They are delivery guys who give businesses difficult time. They don't do their end of job properly and the business becomes negatively affected and somehow they take advantage of this. The lady (owner?) just has balls to confront them. More than those guys lol. I also hear about restroom problems among these bad reviews but as a customer I never had issues. Delivery guys have historically been known to mess up restrooms and steal toilet papers and paper towels (don't ask me why 😂) so I can understand that the business picks and chooses to focus their their service to real customers than those freeloaders who don't help but harm. I'm glad whenever I go in the restroom is clean and there is a toilet paper, ha!
Food is solid. The lady owner is very very nice to customers. I like their katsu. 👌
