I was initially drawn to this café for its charming aesthetic and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow — we waited over 20 minutes for our drinks, which really disrupted our morning plans. :-(

Really super cute. But their coffee is more floral and I like richer cocoa flavors. Lovely space! Braden got tea and it seemed good
High-quality matcha and coffee, friendly staff, and a bathroom that was much appreciated by my girlfriend while we waited for our thoughtfully-made drinks!

Homage Coffee is a truly special experience. From the warm, carefully curated atmosphere to the exceptional coffee and beautiful handmade ceramics (made by one of the two owners), every detail reflects care and creativity.
It’s rare to find a place where the passion behind the work is so tangible. I’m not sure there’s a pair of owners more devoted to their craft. Whether you're stopping in for an exceptional cup of coffee, shopping for a thoughtful gift, or replenishing your home stock of coffee for the week, Homage is an absolute gem.
I highly recommended.

The espresso is incredible and served with a small side of sparkling water which is a nice touch.

Long line and not the cheapest but their mocha was outstanding. Fully recommended.
Amazing coffee. There are many options for great coffee in Seattle. This one should be at the top of your list! I suggest the piccolo.

Oh, where to begin — first off, this place is about as close to perfect as I think you can get. It has:
- Delicious coffee — it’s what you came for, right? Sourcing excellent coffees from small farms and roasters around the world, the espresso here hasn’t disappointed me yet. Nor has the pourover. And if you want to get wild, they usually have a seasonal on the menu that’ll take you out of your comfort zone. The drink that did it for me was their watermelon iced americano. A unique, but great, coffee drink! If you just want something standard, their housemade vanilla syrup makes a fantastic vanilla latte too. Note that the coffee (and food/tea) menu is pretty narrow; they stick to what they do well and only that — this isn’t a major cafe operation, which I like.
- Lovely owners — the duo running this place are so friendly and super into coffee. Watching them put so much heart into this spot is awesome, and they seem to be having a good time.
- The coolest vibe — whether it’s the charm of the space which is vaguely retro cool, the many plants inside, or better yet, owner Rachel’s hand-thrown pottery creations (in which all hot drinks are served, and some of which are available for purchase), this space is one of the city’s most beautiful and hip.
It can get busy in here, and the place is small, so you might wait a bit. I just always come with a friend and then I don’t even notice. They also don’t have much of a food menu, but that matters little to me given the many, many options in the surrounding downtown Ballard area.
All in all, Homage is fast-becoming my top choice for getting coffee out.

As a recent transplant from Melbourne, this has to be the best coffee I’ve had since moving to Seattle. From the interior design to the quality flat whites, I rate it!

Coffee was pretty mediocre by Seattle standards. The breakfast sandwich was just heated out of a freezer pack and was cold in the middle.

This is the best specialty coffee shop in Seattle. They serve pourovers from amazing roasters, have a great selection of bags to buy, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It gets quite busy on Sundays because of the market, but service was still excellent.
Great latte!
