Hook & Plow offers generous portions and delicious food, from the beef welly to the boat meal. Some dishes are very good, others just alright. The staff is attentive and friendly. Customers enjoyed the Halibut and Belgium Waffle in particular. Great service, especially from hosts John and Audrey. The restaurant is located inside the Marriott Waterfront in Seattle, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While breakfast options are limited with no vegetables and only scrambled eggs, potatoes, bread, pastries, and a single yogurt, the staff remains friendly and attentive, making guests feel at home. The dinner menu features a nice selection of options, though they are quite expensive. The steak is cooked perfectly to order, with a charred crust and a tender inside, complemented by a flavorful peppercorn sauce. The fries are golden, fluffy inside, and crispy outside. The tortellini is rich and flavorful, filled with beef and cheese.
During a stay at the hotel, guests found that Hook & Plow is conveniently attached, making it easy to enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the port for a cruise. The breakfast selection was fantastic, including fluffy scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, juicy breakfast sausages, and tender shredded chicken. Guests also enjoyed golden breakfast potatoes with a light crunch, perfectly browned French toast with warm syrup and butter balls, and a flavorful egg white frittata packed with veggies. The buffet offered a fresh fruit station with berries and pineapple, plus toppings like shredded cheese, green onions, and whipped butter for customizing plates. Everything was hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service, especially from server Angelo, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and making sure every detail was perfect. Guests felt valued and well cared for.
Many visitors appreciated the breakfast at the hotel restaurant inside the Seattle Marriott Waterfront. They found the buffet to be a good value, offering nearly everything even for the pickiest eaters. Favorite items included fried home potatoes and crispy thick-cut bacon, which impressed with their crispiness and flavor. Pastries and coffee were also highly praised. The service was excellent, with cups always topped off and staff checking on guests often. Overall, it was a satisfying experience with great food and attentive service, making it a recommended spot for a delicious breakfast near the Seattle waterfront.
