Lemme tell u. This is genuinely tied with the best viet restaurant ive been to. Im a Louisiana native so im glad to have visited this place while i was out in seattle! My honeydew coconut boba with lychee jelly was so damn good it got me wide eyed. Spring rolls were so delicious and im gonna make some spring rolls like the grilled pork ones. Me and my auntie loved them. As for the people, they were nice and patient with our big family. At least 14 people lol. If u are in Seattle...
A nice, cozy neighborhood joint. I ordered a large combo pho and the quantity was fine for the price I paid (downtown prices, anyhow). However, the flavor was rather lacking. I wish there were a heartier, meat broth flavor, but it was all just a bit oily and most of what I could taste was only the lime juice I added and the onions I kept in the soup... which is a bit of a shame. Otherwise, order was served promptly and piping hot, which is exactly what I wanted. Based on others'...
I ordered pho with meat and tendon. The meat was well-done when served so I was pretty disappointed as I asked for medium rare. The tendon was the best. Big chuck, soft and tender.
Broth was very bland. I had to put some salt in it.
Fresh shrimp rolls were nice. I had them to go. The rolls were wrapped in cling film and put in plastic container. When taken out from fridge, the rolls were not too solid and I could have them straight away.
