Triborough Organic Espresso is a bit of a crowd-pleaser. It's deliciously straightforward, certified organic, and excels on nearly every brewing device. Simple and solid, Triborough is thoughtfully composed of beans from two very different parts of the world--a fully-washed process coffee from the Copán region of Honduras, and a wet-hulled Sumatra Mandheling from the Takengon region. Triborough first hits your nose with aromas of chocolate dipped almond and juniper berries. This place serves some of the best molten chocolate cakes I’ve had. Coming from India, I used to absolutely love Domino’s Choco Lava cake, which sadly we don’t get in the States. After discovering this spot, it has become my go-to place whenever I’m craving a warm, gooey chocolate dessert. Absolutely love this place. Definitely recommend it if you have a sweet tooth.

You walk in and see peanut butter, caramel, brownies and ice cream on this huge menu. Now you need to decide what you want to enjoy for dessert. We went with the peanut butter brownie, ice cream and milk. I loved the presentation of this dessert. I recommended taking some ice cream and placing it on top of the brownie for a gooey flavor punch. The best part, all of these are gluten free, you would have no idea because they are that good.

We have been to Hot Cakes several times. Husband and I order one lava cake to share. The cakes plus ice cream are very good, not huge, but very rich so sharing works for us. On a warm evening, it's very pleasant to sit at one of their outside tables.
