0 stars if possible. Horrible, disgusting smelling old rice was delivered to us. Seriously the rice was slimy! Shrimp also old and tasted horrid. I would not eat here unless you want to get food poisoning. A health code violation!

Highly recommend the butter chicken wings. Beautifully crispy, savory, and juicy!! Also recommend the braised duck with egg noodle and if you're feeling adventurous the intestines with rice noodle soup. Parking can be difficult especially during dinner hours as this resturant is shared with many other stores. However, there is a small underground parking garage. Also their only open until 6:30pm daily and closed on tuesdays

I had a great affinity for this restaurant and Uber them regularly. But the last two purches were so very below standards that I will not return. The chicken wings were dry and most of all they gave me spoiled fried rice X2 it was slimy and spoiled and smelled bad. I knew if I ate it I would end up sick and I didn’t want to do that just to prove I was right. I just could not eat it. I usually spend $60 or more but I won’t purchase anymore. It has lost it’s quality. No more.

This is for a takeout review. We ordered stir fried chicken with vegetables, combination fried rice, and salt and pepper calamari. What really thew us off was that the chicken was undercooked and the calamari had a pungent after taste. I'm happy that the combination fried rice wasn't too salty. Don't know if we'll give it another try. This is our first time trying Hue Ky Mi Gia after seeing all the reviews.

First, I want to address the reviews which mention how amazing the food is, while also focusing on how bad the neighborhood has become. Do you think they have control over what happens on public property? Anyway, this place is amazing and highly recommend. Any duck dish is prepared perfectly imo. I love their soups, perfect on a chilly Seattle day.

Yummmm!! Great food, in the worst location in the entire city as of right now. So much so that, they are telling customers to get deliveries. Not come pickup. Why the worst? City of seattle has let the whole city deteriorate during covid without taking any action whatsoever. By that I mean, the homeless tents took over. It's lawless!! People literally taking a dump right outside, during bright daylight. Shooting in needle, guns. This corner has become the WORST place in the Chinatown / the whole city. I didn't realize I was ordering it from this spot ( accidentally) till I came for pick up. I meant to order from Mi La Cay which is around the corner, not as great but not this bad of a location. Similar food, I got the names mixed up. Parking lot is plenty, tiny spots but nothing is available! Homeless on cracks took over. It's insane! Nothing is open anymore. I hope people that own this place take it elsewhere. I know they have a second location. Wouldn't be surprise if that's become the primary! Such a shame. Now the food/ literally risked my life for the food. Food was food! Butter wings: too much batter/ doughy/ buttery for me. Not my cup of tea. But it's quite famous for it. The noodles/ they were delicious! Duck noodles with egg noodles, wonton egg noodle soup with bbq pork, house noodle ( egg or rice but I like the egg noodles). Soup is just enough flavor and salt. The egg noodles are delish. You can also get a side of roasted chicken or duck for $6. Such a steal! Soup prices are also pretty good. I've been trying to try more food again since my recent food pickup there but it's next to impossible!! You can't enter, go near! Not even in the broad daylight. Recently, drove by and this place wasn't open! I hope it's just not forever. Great food, horrible location! Blame the city but businesses are suffering for it. Such a shame!

The absolute best butter garlic chicken wings ever! I have gotten wings from countless restaurants, including the wing restaurants and they beat them by far. The wings are crispy and have tasty coating and you can taste the butter and they come with onions, garlic and a sweet chili sauce. I am only coming here for wings from now on. I get 2 big portion orders for $19. Love this place, staff is cool. The hours are 10am to 5pm.

Hue Ky Mi Gia has been around since I was a child and it was the best thing to look forward to after my haircut across the street! Although nostalgic, this place is just great. Now I come here every time I'm in the city grabbing sandwiches from Saigon Deli behind it. The food tastes better when it's raining. That's just a given. All foods are served fresh and hot. Their fried garlic chicken wings and fried tofu are delicious. The fried chicken especially is a must! I always go for either the Hoanh Thanh (wonton soup), egg noodles with roasted duck, or the egg noodles with bbq pork. Their chow mein and vermicelli dishes are tasty as well! I personally just come here for their soup. I also love that they still give you guava candy after you pay the bill -- that's always been a nice little treat. Lastly, the customer service here is 3/5(?) It's not bad service or anything... It's just that no service is really required, if that makes sense. The staff moves very quickly and efficiently and most of the time, everything you need is already at your table!

Please package up the food so the driver can not eat the food or drink it. This is covid days so it does add an extra liability. That's a general PSA for all restaurants. One of my favorite places I discovered in Chinatown!!!!! They're dishes are basically all good, especially for the butter chicken!

Went here for lunch on a Monday. They only do takeout, and parking is a challenge. Beware- the neighborhood is in really rough shape. Tons of sketchy people loitering, tents on the sidewalk and watch out for the p**** It's everywhere. The food is solid; best wings in Seattle. Also had the chicken chow mein. Delicious! The pork fried rice wasn't so great, kind of old and dry. It's sad that the area is falling apart because the business owners are paying the price.

best butter garlic chicken wings

The fried butter wings are honestly the best wings I've ever had. I wish I would've tried this place much earlier than when everything started reopening during the pandemic. They announced that there's a very real possibility of closing. Please please please try it out and help save our local businesses.

Hands down my favorite Vietnamese/Chinese noodle joint. Parking can be difficult at times but they are worth a visit. I was so glad to see them up and running after a difficult, hard year and a half. I always get the combo, (mi thap cam) soup on the side, and a side of those "crack" chicken aka butter garlic wings and sometimes when I feel like it a side of chinese donuts. Prices have always been pretty good and food has always been consistent.
