I Love Sushi on Lake Union

A cozy little place with great prices on sushi and very fast, competent service! Carlo S was an excellent server and all the rolls and the Karaage didnt miss! Highly recommend...

It was quite excellent but service was slow and it was expensive.

I don’t usually write bad reviews, but this one felt like it was overly justified. I got to the restaurant about 6:40 PM last night, and immediately ordered sashimi, which I did not receive until 720 well all the other people around me got their food, the fish came out and was not fresh. Then I ordered another roll. Same issue - there was no acknowledgment of the delay, I was at the sushi bar and it was like I did not exist. The restaurant is grimy, the bathrooms are disgusting. There is nothing good about this place except maybe the view if you were sitting outside.

Some of the worst sushi I’ve eaten. It was not made to order and was dried out fish. The ginger was dried out and tasteless. One piece of nigiri had skin on it, thus inedible. When I pointed it out to my server she replied that it was supposed to be like that. The location is beautiful but I won’t return.

This place sets on a beautiful spot on the water, but service was abysmal and the food was bland. I ordered belly cuts of a couple different pieces of fish and I got silver skin on them which shouldn't be happening, just overall a meh experience.

Nabeyaki udon was great! I got full because the sushi rice was packed really tightly, almost like a rice ball.
But the sushi rolls were delicious.

Amazing customer service! The team here is phenomenal. From the moment you walk in, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The kitchen staff and sushi chefs are just as incredible—skilled, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. The atmosphere and the people truly make this sushi spot one of the best around. I absolutely love this place and the amazing team that makes it so special! 🍣❤️

The food was okay, it was way more better eight years ago when I lived close by.

However they asked you to pay even you are still eating and take away your guest’s chopsticks even they did not finish. What the heck are you serving???

Won’t come again and won’t recommend to others any more

I LOVE this place. Came over for a quick lunch from work and they have an easy to pick lunch combo option. Came with 2 rolls and miso soup. Edamame was sooo good as well, tasted so fresh and delightful. Everything was quite refreshing and tasty. Service was excellent. Makes my days in office much more pleasant.
