I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but the service ruined it. I asked where the flour the pasta is made with is from and was told “I have no idea” instead of offering to go and check. I had to ask them to go and see. As someone with gluten sensitivity the source of the flour is very important to me. When my food came out it was tepid, not warm or hot. Great Italian food near the market. One of our favorite chicken parm restaurants. Pasta is outstanding as well. Never had a bad dish in multiple visits. Expansive wine list too at multiple price points.
We had such a great meal here from beginning to end. We started with the focaccia, then enjoyed the carbonara and rigatoni, and every dish was fresh and full of flavor. The cocktails were excellent, and the dessert wine paired perfectly with the affogato to finish the meal. The service was outstanding, and our waitress was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout. After this experience, I'm convinced you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
