What a terrific discovery! We're new to Seattle and a friend recommended Carmine's for my wife's birthday. It could not have been more perfect. Great ambiance, fantastic service from Tara, and delicious food.
Carmine is one of our favorite restaurants, particularly for special events. The food, sevice and ambience are superb. But at our dinner last night, the dining room was very busy and the roar drowned out our conversation at our table - simply could not hear each other talk. The desserts continue to be first-class, but the antipasta was sub-par; I've had better at lesser restaurants, and Carmine's is prob the most expensive you will find in Seattle. That was disappointing....
One of the best if not the best Italian restaurant in the Seattle area. The best cioppino in the city. Kudos to the chef and staff they are running a tight ship. The bar is great as well.
