If you're wondering why two-stars are missing, it's because $26 for two plain small Americanos and two bagels (one plain, one cream cheese) is an egregious rip off. If you want to enjoy the atmosphere I recommend coming for a single cup of coffee and saving your appetite for elsewhere
Irwin’s is the best coffee shop in Seattle, no questions asked. The food is great (homemade pastries! pie to die for!), the vibe is right, the coffee is yummy. Even after I moved away from Wallingford I kept coming back because there simply is no comparison. Irwin’s forever!!!!
Their Greek ciabatta sandwich with feta added is my favorite sandwich in Seattle (as a vegetarian). It has so many ingredients, but it’s not overwhelming and tall, it’s the perfect size. It makes two meals for me unless I’m real hungry
