Went for the second time on a Saturday. Bartenders were taking shots of Don Julio and Tito’s and drinking in the back with Brandi. On top of that, we were given the wrong food. Smh. This place is definitely going downhill.

They really do put the soul in Island Soul. The vibe, the food, the people, everything is great. I ordered the catfish, and I had no complaints. I'm looking forward to trying the oxtail the next time I'm there.

Mac n cheese was really smooth, creamy and good, vibe was nice, everyone was friendly and attentive. I’m from New Orleans and can be picky when it comes to food, they passed the taste test!

Brought the jerk chicken mac and cheese home for my girlfriend to try. She ate the whole thing instantly. I didn't even get a chance to taste it. Im confident it was great though. She fell asleep immediately afterwards. 10/10 would recommend as a to go order before coming home drunk.

My wife and I were visiting from Las Vegas, Nevada and we had to try Island Soul. Let me just quickly begin with the main thing; the food. As a native Texan and pastors son, I have had greens and I know greens. This restaurant’s, leafy, colorful, Subtlety taste of Vinegar and the hint of sweetness on the finish, rival any greens I’ve tasted. The gumbo had a wonderful rue and hearty portions of all the traditional offerings in this dish. My wife had the jerk chicken; which I also tried. The chicken was flavorful, moist, and full of Jamaican spices. The drink menu and drinks we tried pair perfectly with the food. This restaurant is simply a must try and we will return. BRAVO, Island Soul.

They got my food wrong twice . It tasted amazing but to even get our order taken it took 45 minutes. Good was really good tho
