Nothing like getting a wonderful view while eating a wonderful meal! The service here was very good. We were attended to as if we owned the place. The food was amazing! Do I really need to go on about their clam chowder? I think not! The shrimp cocktail had four jumbo shrimp in it, with a bunch of tiny shrimp swimming around in the sauce! That was really fun. The yellow curry muscles were fantastic. I would order them every time I showed up. I am so glad we went here! You should go too!

The location really sold this place for me, I came for a midweek lunch so I got a quiet seat right next to the windows so I could watch the wildlife on the pier and people give their extra fries to the seagulls! The interior has beautiful fireplaces to warm up next to.As for the food, basic and a little pricey. I got the 3-piece basket. The quality of the fish was great and it was fried well but it was not seasoned at all. Crème brûlée was a good portion but very basic as well, needed some vanilla.Overall, I’d come back for a quiet lunch overlooking the water here any day, except for a busy weekend.

The server was very knowledgeable. Went to the kitchen to see if they could make the Ahi gluten-free. They were able to modify it so I could enjoy one of my favorite dish. Thank you so much for having gluten-free options and for being so accommodating! The seafood Cobb salad was also delicious!Dietary restrictions: Gluten allergy

Have been to this Ivar's location a few times over the years. Food and location have always been good. Planned on visiting today and made a reservation, but due to a water shut off issue they had to temporarily close during the day. The manager/head of staff for the day provided great service in a bad situation and even called us ahead of our reservation to let us know. When we checked in, they were still having the issue and they kindly let us know that others at the same pier would be having the issue. Great service!

Stopped by while walking the pier and it was okay. I hadn't been to the waterfront location and was excited for the view. The view was good but overshadowed by the service. There was a group in front of my gf and I who got seated quickly. Then for some reason the host skipped asking us if we were waiting and asked the people behind us who were then seated. It was odd but we approved the counter after wards and after a little wait we were seated. The same thing happened while we were seated though. The sandwich my gf got was a little wet but my cod tacos were good! I also got drinks off the happy hour menu which were okay. The old fashioned wasn't the best but the vodka martini was good! Overall 3

My wife and I stopped in here while playing tourist and what a surprise! We were only expecting a small location buts it's Huge inside.We sat in the bar as it's our usual go to seating. They were a little busy but the service was still prompt and attentive.We of course had the fish and chips, which was very good.
