I drive by Jacks BBQ in Algona everyday, it always smells so good. I don't have time to actually eat in but, I did door dash it today to work for an early dinner. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with greens and it was amazing. I also tried the hushpuppies they where also outstanding. I'm sorry I waited so long to eat there. I now have lunch for tomorrow too. Thank You Jack's

Visiting in Seattle and my sin and daughter in law took me here for lunch. The pulled pork was so tender and cooked to perfection. No gristle or fat! It was a great experience.

I love their service, they are always super friendly… but the brisket omg it’s mouth watering! It’s so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of it before I started digging in. The queso and chips is also so yummy. This time I was in a hurry so I only had the Caesar salad with brisket. I came all the way from Bellevue. I’m so excited for their new location opening up in Redmond in May! Can’t wait!

as they say, best bbq in seattle! 10/10! Michael is the one of the best servers i've had in seattle, everytime we have him it's always a great time! he has the razzle dazz, love him. Always coming back for the delicious food and great service.

Firstly, the food was great. The gentleman who seated us was the owner and he was very kind. The waiter however was a little pushy. I had the Cob Salad, it was delicious. The pickled onions, the pickled egg, talk about a perfect garnish. I had mine with Blue Cheese, it was incredible. At the end of our meal when it was time to pay, the waiter showed us our total so I started fanning out 20's and he rudly interrupted me and said "we don't accept cash!" And I looked at him and said "I'm sorry, I don't have any other way to pay you" he said "you don't have a card?? It's 2024" and I said, "no man, I'm from out of town I only came here to see the ball game and I got a 6 hour drive ahead of me" he said "you didn't see the sign on our door that says no cash?" And I said "no I didn't" and he said "I'll get you a manager" and honestly looking back now, I didn't see the sign because some gentleman held the door open for me as he walked in with his wife. Shortly after the owner came over and said "here, hand me a couple 20s and I'll get you change" so I did. He came back with my change and I thanked him and he thanked me. Mind you, I planned on leaving that waiter a 20$ but since he was so rude about it, he got nothing.Aside from being treated like that, it was a good restaurant.

Over priced BBQ, sides need alot of help! Portions on meat poor per price! 24 dollars for 3 small slivers of fatty oily brisket.. Do better!

A true road house BBQ restaurant. Amazing brisket and ribs. Side like Mac and cheese, collard greens, fried okra and pickles,and corn bread that are to die for. Great house made sauces. Hazy Bodi on tap. Wonderfully friendly and peculiar staff that complete the experience. Tuesday Texas BBQ!

The server was not interested in providing a quality dining experience compared to the Algona location. The King Chicken ranch was 99% chicken and 1% cheese queso making it less desirable. wedge and brisket were on point.

Y'all, if you're craving legit Texas-style BBQ in Portland, get yourself to Jack's BBQ ASAP! This place is the real deal. I went with the brisket plate, and let me tell you, it was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The portions are Texas-sized, so be prepared to loosen your belt buckle. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is laid-back and fun.

Wow. Just... WOW. Jack's is probably BY FAR the best barbecue I've ever had in Seattle/the Greater Seattle Area. They were great through delivery apps, but I decided to go in person and my mind was blown. Some of the best service I've gotten in a LONG time - our drinks were refilled once they started running low, and I didn't even notice I was almost out! The food came out hot, fresh, and DELICIOUS within minutes.I love love LOVE their brisket, and their jalapeno+cheddar sausage is to die for. And unlike other bbq places, their mac and cheese is actually really good. The sides are ?. I love the beans, love the mac&cheese, and the cornbread is great too. And their ribs should not be slept on. It's a little pricey, but so is all bbq.

I’m from Texas, and I must say this is the only place I’ve been to that claims Texas style BBQ and backs it up! The service was amazing, and the food literally brought a tear to my eye. The flavors were nostalgiac for me; I grew up on BBQ! It’s a bit pricey, but I did feed two and order a second sandwich! If you have a hankerin for some BBQ, this is the place!
