I put in an online order for pickup after normal opening time. When I arrived the restaurant had not opened, for some reason. Even though they had not opened for business they insisted on making the order I placed. I offered to cancel, but they were amazing pulled my order together in a very short amount of time. Amazing service and the food was delicious! Definitely going to be ordering from them again.

The quality of the food at this place has really gone down in the past three years. Prior to that, I don't remember ever having a bad meal here. The pot stickers we ordered were lukewarm in the middle and fried. The pineapple in the curry had an acrid, chemical aftertaste - perhaps it'd been refrigerated in the tin can it came in? The women's bathroom looked like it hadn't had a deep clean in months. I won't give this place another chance.

I hate Thai food. It always smells like dirty feet. We went to a show here and I was starving so ordered panang curry. I loved it. Nice people too. They switched my 3 spicy with my son in law's 5 spicy and ruined his meal. It made mine excellent though.

Food was okay, service was great, ambience was nice and chill, but a mouse ran across the floor while we were there.

Edible but way too many good options to ever return. The kitchen was dirty AF. I mean, I’m all about a good hole-in-the-wall, but this was dirty with only meh food results. I saw a cook pull food from a fridge and set out on the floor while retrieving additional items. She then rolled several large cans across the floor because her hands were full. As I left there’s ways a RAT that ran across the dining room. Rats are a reality of any big city but rolling cans across the floor isn’t.

A Thai spot nestled into the heart of Cap Hill -- ordered takeout from them via DoorDash for pickup, so take the review with a grain of salt since it's different from the dine-in experience. Their ordering tablet was down this particularly so I had to come in and wait a bit of extra time for my meal. I got the Phud See Yew and it was good -- the noodles tended to be a bit on the overcooked side BUT the taste was definitely good! The spring rolls were tasty as well, but a bit on the oilier side. The staff was super sweet and the ambiance looked nice when I stopped in, so would definitely come back to give it another try dining in!

Ordered a Pad Thai to go. Basically tasted like it was made with cheap ketchup. Barely edible unfortunately...the restaurant smelled like mold and was not very inviting at all. This place used to be much better so not exactly sure what happened.

Our friend went here and came back with mango and sticky rice and it was SO good, so we decided to all go and get more and some food! They were the sweetest and the mangoes were so ripe considering it’s only March. Cannot recommend this place enough.

It was my first time ordering from jai Thai, and I was excited to try it. I ordered it it to go and requested for them to add spice to the pad Thai. Upon receiving my food, I noticed that there was no spice as I took my first bite, which was a little disappointing but fine. The food is tasty but I was disappointed when I found plastic in my food. I unfortunately did not feel comfortable eating the rest of my meal knowing the pad Thai had been cooked with the plastic. : (

No clue why this place has as low of stars as it does. I've been here a few times and the staff have always been friendly and the food has always been amazing and cheap. My go to is the Basil tofu fried rice and it's so delicious. Definitely recommend!

We were excited that they offered Tom Yum and Tom Kha without meat - hard to find! - but ended up getting sick afterwards. We also ordered the Drunken Noodles and they were pretty bland. All three dishes had the exact same vegetable mix, making the flavor differences between the dishes neglible. Folks who order meat might not mind as much, but I wouldn't recommend this to vegetarians.Giving two stars instead of one because the staff were kind and attentive.

Loved their green curry with chicken. While I normally get a curry three star, I appreciated the rich and flavorful two star. Portion size was generous. Server was very helpful.

The food is always solid! And it's affordable. I didn't think the 4/5 stars was spicy and my friend also didn't find the 5/5 spicy either.

I live next door and ordering from here is gambling. Sometimes it's amazing and others it's mediocre. Ordered 5-star Pad Thai recently on two separate occasions and you'd think they were made at two different restaurants.
