A beautiful restaurant offering authentic Thai food with friendly service. We ordered classic dishes like a papaya salad, Tom yum kun, boat noodles, fried tilapia and more. Everything had robust flavors and so satisfying. The location is a plus for people watching and shopping before or after a meal. Sunday Fremont Market is right around the corner. We went for Sunday lunch and made a fun afternoon outing of it.
I stopped by Jai Thai on a busy afternoon, and it was the perfect escape! Even with the afternoon rush, the restaurant had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and I absolutely loved the charming decor and lighting.The food was incredible—we ordered the fried calamari, crab rangoon, and phad see ew, and loved everything we tried! Great ambience. It's a different world inside from the streets. Flower Decorated, high ceilings and spacious. Had beef hot pot, it's a pho style hot pot - a unique flavor experience. Pro tip : mix the noodles in the pot early on, otherwise you will end up finishing the broth and left with the noodles. Pro tip 2 : the spice levels are Americanized, so a 3 spice level is regular spicy and not Thai spicy. The sticky pudding are good too, not too sweet and still flavorful....
