Family owned restaurant in Shoreline. The lady who I assume is the owner, is very sweet. I came here a few weeks ago and ordered Jollof rice with lamb and fufu & egusi soup. The Jollof rice was amazing!! ??? a little heat to it but nothing overbearing. I feel that the amount of lamb was much too little though. I guess the Jollof rice is the star of the dish (not too mad at it).
It was my first time trying egusi and I did not like it. Don’t let that dissuade you though, it’s most likely my tastebuds seeing as I don’t like fish that much & crayfish is in it. I would definitely come back regularly for that Jollof rice if it wasn’t so far from me! Come check out this small owned business!

Food was so good. Tried kanja, egusi, plasas, benachin , all with fufu. Then ginger juice, wonjo, baobab juice. All very good and spicy

Amazing food!!! Highly recommend the Plasas with lamb and Egusi soup with lamb! The meat is very tender and flavorful. Portions are generous as well.

Delicious authentic West African food, very unique and different from the typical Ethiopian food that is found near Seattle. I had the peanut butter stew with lamb and it was incredible. Okra with fufu was also very nice. Baobob drink was delightful

I got peanut butter stew with just vegetables and fish pie! Both had so much flavor. It’s a family run restaurant with food made from love. Parking lot is in the back and lots of room to sit down and eat or you can take it to go. If you are pescatarian there are a few different options.

Food was absolutely impressive, flavors were bold and complex, a little spicy for those with a mild taste, we ordered the grilled chicken and the Domoda Peanut Butter Stew, both fantastic!

I totally recommend this place and the best option for me when am craving African flavors. I have ordered here twice and never dissapointed. I oderd plasas that came with rice but i wanted fufu to go with it and the owner was really kind to substitute it for me. 10/10 ????
