Amazing place for dim sum served from carts. The place is packed to the brim with Chinese families so you know that it’s not just catering to other people. New ownership has improved on an already great restaurant.

Good place to get Dimsum and family dish size foods. Their steamed dishes are pretty yummy. We like the Siumai and chicken feet.
We order the sweet sour pork very often, quality is inconsistent, sometimes the dish is too sour and the porks are not fresh. Price is a plus here in this local

FYI Never go there on a holiday, the place is packed and chaotic. If you go on a party of 5 or more, prepare to wait over an hour because most of their tables are for 4 people and 5 or more would need to wait for the big table, which is almost a 2 hour wait. When we got our table, I had to get my own plates, cups, and utensils because all servers are busy. Food was okay but too much MSG that I had to had my teapot refilled 3 times. When it came to paid the bill, one regular customer told us “no tip” they already added to the bill, 15% for weekdays and 18% on weekends and holidays. Before we leave, we order a roast duck to go for $36 but it was a huge mistake, it was all skin and bones. When we got home, everyone was drinking a lot of water and we chugged half a case of the large 1 liter bottle water. Eating out like this is “once in a blue month.”

Fantastic dim sum place. Nice variety, and you can start eating almost as soon as you sit down. Crispy whole ducks and racks of ribs to grab on your way out!

Delicious, authentic dim sum place in Seattle. Great variety and warm even near closing time, and fair prices as well. This was also the fastest service I have ever seen: from the moment we arrived to the moment we were done eating it took less than half an hour. Possibly rushed due to being a bit late, but worked great for us.

Come to the store to taste it on December 29, 2023. This is a Cantonese-style morning tea restaurant opened by an old Chinese. The outside facade is not big, but the inside is actually very spacious, suitable for weddings, funeral banquets or corporate annual meetings. We flew 3,000 kilometers from out of state to come to Seattle for vacation. In the past, we, the younger generation of international students, did not often go to restaurants run by old Chinese, because we always felt that the staff and diners were not of the same generation as us. However, on the recommendation of family relatives, we went anyway. When I got there, I discovered that Google Maps showed that this restaurant was still called Joy Palace, but in reality it had been renamed Ding Feng.To be honest, the food tastes pretty good. We ordered a lot of dim sum and two hot dishes, which were delicious. Many kinds of dim sum are filled with shrimps, which may be a major feature of Cantonese cuisine. The service staff are all older, and many of them don't speak Mandarin or speak it well. They can only speak fluent Cantonese and less fluent English. We mainland students still have some difficulties communicating with them. However, it is obvious that they are very happy to serve guests and help them solve their problems. We went late, arriving at 12:30 noon. Seeing that the custard buns and quicksand buns were never pushed over, we asked a waiter. The auntie was very nice. After understanding what we needed, she went to the kitchen to help us and asked if there were any custard buns and quicksand buns left. It's just that we were unlucky. The custard buns and quicksand buns at noon that day were all sold out. In order to compensate us, the aunt specially brought us a plate of 4 glutinous rice custard cakes. This is very worthy of praise! I will visit again next time I come to Seattle.

Restaurant name is Ding Feng now.Gave up trying find parking in chinatown so went down south to here as never problem finding parking. Went christmas day so it was busy af but got a table quickly. Got a bunch of stuff and bill was lot less than i expected so got my value worth. Nothing was overly salty which was good.Nice to hear cantonese throughout whole restaurant give it that old school vibe. Some of the ladies also speak viet if needed.Restaurant is dirty af but hey they busy and it's in the hood so you got to put that in perspective.

They have dim dum in the morning where they put the dumplings in the carts and we can pick and choose. Very tasty with affordable price. However, it can be very crowded in the weekends so plan
