Was such a treat having dinner at Kabul for the first time. Delicious food and wonderful staff. Save room for dessert!

Great food but obnoxious owner who doesn’t know what he is saying in the pretext of looking like a kind host!

The food was incredible! Everything we had was utterly fantastic, and the owner Wally was so cordial and friendly. Took time to talk with us multiple times through the meal. We had such a great time and an amazing meal! Cannot wait to go back! Unfortunately don’t have any photos of the food, we devoured everything as soon as it came out. Next time!

Food is very unique and the service is great. The owner is extremely passionate but sometimes a little too much. But definitely one of the best Afghan places in the west coast!

I love restaurants like this. The food is straightforward, delicious, and cooked with love. We savored every dish, especially the ashak. The owner was there on a Sunday evening and was lovely to chat with. What an accomplishment to be open for 31 years—he deserves his success. I’ll be back, and next time I’ll bring my daughter.

We had the mushroom qorma and bolani to start. Both were delicious especially the bolani. For dinner we had the vegetarian ashak and Badenjan Borani and thoroughly enjoyed both and I got the house made hot sauce (extra hot) and be warned that it is really hot but still worthwhile because of the flavor. Dessert was perfect—baklava and cardamom tea. Overall the food was amazing but what really made this dinner so great was the staff and owner. They were so warm, friendly, and fun to talk to. I’m excited for our next trip to Seattle so we can go back!Vegetarian options: There are multiple dishes you can make vegetarian and vegan

The food was AMAZING!!! I had never had Afghan cuisine before, and my roommate and I live pretty far from this location but I am so excited to come back! Everything from appetizer to dessert was phenomenal. Usually I'm unable to finish my meals, but I cleared the plate of my very generous serving and had to resist the urge to lick the sauce off of the dish. The absolute highlight was the Firni. I could eat it everyday! The family that runs this restaurant is so kind and really cares for the local community and their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the best meals I’ve had all year. My boyfriend and I got the combo kebab plate, which came with smaller portions of a few of the other entrees and a dessert. Everything was really good. I especially enjoyed the kebabs (chicken and lamb) and the eggplant. We will be spreading the word about this place!

The hospitality is great. We ordered bolani, mushroom qorma, qorma sabzi, gorma tarkari and ashak for 4 people. The rice entrees - qorma sabzi and qorma tarkari was great. The rice was flavorful and the qorma delicious.Ashak is dumplings covered in a yogurt sauce which was delicious too. The casing was super thin and silky. The appetizers were kind of skippable.Overall good vibes, very friendly staff and good food.
