Having been coming to the Kastoori Grill every year for the PAX convention, we noticed they had new ownership, and had painted and improved the ventilation. The food was excellent, a step up from the previous owners in terms of flavor for the palak paneer, tikka masala, and pakoras. Can highly recommend if you enjoy this style of food.

A Hidden Gem at Pike Place!
Kastoori Grill is an absolute delight for anyone craving authentic South Asian cuisine. The quality of the food was truly top-notch—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and bursting with authentic Indian and Pakistani spices. The balance of flavors was spot on, reminding me of home-cooked meals with a refined touch.
The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the new management really cares about both the food and the overall dining experience.
It’s surprising that the restaurant still shows a 3.8 rating, because my experience was far above that—it deserves a solid 5 stars. This place is a must-try if you’re near Pike Place and want something beyond the typical tourist fare.
Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Fragrant and flavorful food - hearty portions and fair pricing. Loved the mixed grill platter, goat biryani, and chicken momos (steamed). Tandoor roti and garlic naan complimented the dishes beautifully. Always a stop for us when we frequent downtown Seattle and conveniently located nearby Pike Place Market. Love this spot!

I’m so glad we stopped by Kastoori Grill at Pike Place! The restaurant is run by the most welcoming couple, and their hospitality made us feel right at home. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with genuine warmth and a big smile. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious – authentic Pakistani flavors, rich in taste and cooked with love. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.
If you’re visiting Seattle and Pike Place, I highly recommend giving Kastoori Grill a try. Not only will you enjoy amazing food, but you’ll also experience the kindness and passion of the owners who make this place truly special.

Excellent service surpassed by the food! This will be our go-to restaurant when in Seattle. Staff/owner was super helpful (went out to local market to restock beer we wanted) and friendly. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to Kastoori Grill for close to 15 years and the food has always been amazing. Unfortunately, with the new ownership, things seem to have gone downhill. The signature Kastoori Curry, which was my absolute favorite, is no longer on the menu. Rice isn’t included with the meal, and the curries aren’t served on a small stand with a candle under them like they used to be. The chicken korma I ordered on this recent visit didn’t even look like chicken korma. It was on the salty side and there wasn’t a single cashew to be found. Unfortunately, I will not be visiting this place again. I really hope the previous owners have opened up a restaurant somewhere else so I can have the Kastoori Curry again.

We ordered the Aloo tikki wrap, salty lassi, and samosa chat. Everything tasted yum and we would come back again. Masala chai had good spices and was diluted.

My family found this place by accident but are very glad we did. Chatting with the owner,we learned he had just taken over the business and he and his wife were working hard to get this place going. He could not have been helpful and friendly. The food as well was excellent. We all very much enjoyed our meal and would go back again. Give this place a try!

We had an amazing meal here. The new owner was wonderful about describing each dish so we could make a great choice. I'll admit the physical atmosphere is a work in progress but the atmosphere created by the owner makes up for where the tables and paint may still need work. We all ordered different dishes and everyone was very pleased. The portions were
