Delicious but be careful with the spice level. I got the spicy chicken with the “hot” (2nd most spicy) spice level, and it was waaay too spicy for us, to the point that our mouths were just in constant pain the rest of the meal. I will be coming back and getting mild next time for sure.

My friend and I loved our lunch. The banchan was really good. Great kimchi. Perfectly cooked mackerel with a nice sauce. Terrific service. We will certainly go back.

Can’t recommend as there’s no vegetarian / vegan versions of tofu soup or kimchi ramen
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food always tastes fresh and I love the cozy vibe of the place.
People were nice. Menu stated that u would get side dishes with your meal but we did not. Saw some kitchen in the dish trays bins but never got any. Was hoping for some banchan. Food was OK.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ballard. Always fresh and delicious. This place really hits the spot on a cold and wet day. I usually do take out because I live two blocks away, but they have seating inside as well.

Japchae is great.
The hot sauce & tea are good
A consistently reliable delicious place for food in the area! I wish it wasn’t so pricey but overall, I keep coming back!

No one makes soondobu like they do. Been a fan since 2019. The soup fell off a bit in 2022 and I took a break. Tried them multiple times again in 2025 and it’s back to how I like it.

I ordered the tofu pork soup with extra egg. I ordered the extra egg because the egg is some of my favorite part of the soup.
They stirred in both eggs.... Why? What's even the point of ordering eggs. What monster does this?
The soup was otherwise fine, but the best part was gone.
Also expensive, as expensive as stone but worse.

The flavors are so good! Probably the best japchae in town, and don't skip the seafood pancake. Their in-house gochujan is flavorful and paired well with the stone bibimbap. The crunchy rice and sweet savory sauce 🤤 yum!

Good portion and price for the food. The kimchi fried rice and japchae had ok flavor. I wish they had some soup options to go with the bowls.
The place is unpretentious, has a few tables inside and two outside. I enjoyed the self served barley tea.
