No one makes soondobu like they do. Been a fan since 2019. The soup fell off a bit in 2022 and I took a break. Tried them multiple times again in 2025 and it’s back to how I like it.

I ordered the tofu pork soup with extra egg. I ordered the extra egg because the egg is some of my favorite part of the soup.

They stirred in both eggs.... Why? What's even the point of ordering eggs. What monster does this?

The soup was otherwise fine, but the best part was gone.

Also expensive, as expensive as stone but worse.

The flavors are so good! Probably the best japchae in town, and don't skip the seafood pancake. Their in-house gochujan is flavorful and paired well with the stone bibimbap. The crunchy rice and sweet savory sauce 🤤 yum!

Good portion and price for the food. The kimchi fried rice and japchae had ok flavor. I wish they had some soup options to go with the bowls.
The place is unpretentious, has a few tables inside and two outside. I enjoyed the self served barley tea.

kimchi house is so good, especially their hot stone bibimbap and japchae! i usually get the beef bibimbap but you can’t get it for takeout, so i would recommend dining in if you want crispy rice on the edges of your bowl.

We came from LA for a short vacation and chose this place because it was close by. The food was incredibly delicious, and I highly recommend it. I just have to say, the food could have arrived at the same time. My wife's soup arrived a little later than mine, so maybe it was a spur of the moment, but as I said, I liked the flavor.

This is my go to for quality comfort style Korean food. It's one of my guilty pleasures to get food delivered from here and it's always exactly what Im looking for, hearty, well seasoned and generous portions. Get Japchae, Kimchi Fried Rice and Bulgogi. Eat what you can and eat the leftovers like a king.

My group came here on a whim and were knocked off our feet. it's a small restaurant, but it has big flavor. I had the spicy chicken but got it mild cuz I'm a wuss. Everything we ordered including the sides was delicious. We picked our plates clean.
