While visiting Ballard, we tried take out from this restaurant. He had the grilled tofu and it was very good. When we stopped in to pick up our order, all the dine in seats were filled. All the food looked great. They also had bottled beer to purchase. If back in the area, we’d likely visit again and maybe dine in.

Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate a vegan diet.

Decent food but nothing terribly exciting.

The restaurant was so slammed with takeout orders (and it does feel more like a takeout place than a dining atmosphere), they ran out of the soup I wanted to order. I ended up getting something else, which was good but not what I planned. My friend and I also ended up waiting almost an hour after ordering. Staff apologized but I think you might have to be careful what time you come here to ensure your order goes through and you don't have to wait.

Free hot tea and takeout container station was handy.

Food was not particularly good. Overpriced for what was given.

Great food! They do accept card despite the restaurant summary saying they are cash only.

I would skip. Kimchi fried rice was good, but the spicy pork and seafood pancake left some to be desired

What an awesome place! Food was great, service too. Enjoyed barley tea for the first time and absolutely loved the sides that came with our meals. There wasn't a lot of seating but the overall feel of the place was relaxing. Would definitely go again.

I wanted authentic Korean food on this visit to Seattle, and Kimchi House was recommended. There is limited seating so we had to wait for a table, but the atmosphere was friendly and happy. The focus was on the food and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. The barley tea was the perfect compliment to our food choices. I love noodles and the japchae was amazing! Even the most critical of our group raved about the spicy chicken and the kimchi.

Vegetarian options: A person in our family is vegan and had no trouble ordering a stone bowl with vegan options. It was delicious and they will be going back often.
