We have been to Kisaku several times and the food itself is always incredible. Previously the service matched that, which was why I had booked it for my husband's birthday with four of our friends. 5 of us were seated and ready at the reservation time, with one friend who was delayed about 20 minutes. Absolutely love Kisaku - so much that I have some hesitation in letting too many others in on it. Outstanding sushi curated from the absolute freshest fish - often with a special chef’s twist: sprinkle of a citrus infused salt, or a smoky mayo dotted onto king salmon embellished with roe. We went here for our anniversary and Richard (the head chef) was part of our omakase service. He was excellent - professional and kind, very knowledgable about the sushi he was serving us. It was a super busy night, but he never look flustered and got the job done for the whole restaurant and for us. Well deserved stars for this restaurant!
