Kokkaku Reviews
This has got to be the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. Their staff is phenomenal and I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten there. They have a nice variety of dishes and appetizers. and it’s a restaurant I highly recommend for their delicious food and super sweet staff.
Meat is super tender and delicious
The food was incredible. We had the $115 waygu set. The arugula salad was pretty decent, could have used a bit more dressing but nonetheless the beef was delicious. The Waygu Bolognese Mac and Cheese stole the show, the sauce was delicious and not what I expected out of a Mac and Cheese. Kokkaku offers a delicious meal with friendly service and affordable wine options. The restaurant is especially popular during happy hour, when they serve $1.75 oysters and generous portions of $4 wagyu sushi, torched at the table. The cocktails, particularly the lemon sour, are tasty. The wagyu beef bowl and steak are flavorful, though they may need extra seasoning. The soy pudding and fire cheesecake desserts are smooth and not overly sweet. The cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and fun tableside torching create a casual dining experience. Kokkaku is also known for its wagyu special courses, which feature a variety of Wagyu preparations, and sushi-inspired appetizers that are unique. The seared Wagyu nigiri and Wagyu ragu pasta are highly recommended for their deliciousness. The staff is understanding and flexible, accommodating dietary restrictions with gluten-free options prepared without extra charge. Desserts like fire tofu cheesecake and soy milk panna cotta are favorites, with the latter being gluten-free and vegan. Kokkaku is a perfect place to enjoy new flavors and a relaxing meal in a lively, cozy setting. Reservations are recommended, especially on busy weekends, and free street parking nearby makes visiting convenient. Customers have praised the restaurant for its impressive dishes and cozy atmosphere, making it a great choice for date nights and special occasions.
