Kona Kitchen - Seattle Reviews
The food is very good And they give you very good service but they are doing something very wrong with the employees. I have friends who work there and say that the tips left by customers are not given to the workers. Kona Kitchen is a popular family restaurant serving Hawaiian food. Diners praise the generous portions and authentic dishes, including spam musubi, Hawaiian fried rice, Korean Chicken, chef's salad, Mochiko chicken, and the Banzai Pipeline plate with teri chicken. The restaurant offers a variety of options, allowing customers to substitute steamed vegetables for rice with their entrees. It is known for its friendly staff and nostalgic atmosphere, decorated with Hawaiian memorabilia. Many customers enjoy the sweet Hawaiian French toast and the combo plates, which feature hefty servings of meat and mac salad. Beyond the main menu, the restaurant also offers a selection of cakes from Cakes of Paradise, with Chantilly cake being a customer favorite. Kona Kitchen has two locations, with the original Maple Leaf spot being particularly well-regarded. While some have mentioned the service as mid, the food quality and customization options make it a must-try when in the Seattle area.
