Korean Tofu House Express

Went to visit the Burke Museum and then get food. We wanted Asian, and this was the first out of six places we checked that had a better than 'okay' on the health rating! Food was very good, and it came out quickly. The banchan is always nice to see, some Korean places don't. All in all, worth the stop, would be likely to go again if we're in the area.

I bought take out and the packaging was very secure. Server was very friendly. The place is quite spacious, it was comfortable to just be in. Service was quick in my opinion.

Atrocious, and scammy service. Came in with a group of 6 people and there were only one or two other groups. Nonetheless, the food took 20-25 minutes to arrive even though everyone ordered the same dish (cold noodles, 3 spicy 3 regular). When the food arrived one dish did not have meat while several did, several dishes also only had a quarter of an egg instead of half as promised.

When we went to pay I didn't tip because I felt the service was poor, the server then cancelled my payment and forced me to add a tip before paying again. She mentioned something about having a group of 5+ but industry standard is automatic gratuity of 8+ and looking online I cannot see notice of automatic gratuity posted anywhere, which is illegal.

Pretty tasty, delicious. Service was pretty quick and definitely friendly. Once ordered it same quickly. It was pretty hot inside that day, thankfully they turned on the AC.

I make it a point to get spicy pork any time I'm in Seattle (there is no KBBQ where I live unfortunately) and it did not disappoint here!

Came around 6 p.m. The food was okay, but the service made the whole experience uncomfortable. The server was really rude and made us feel unwelcome the entire time. She even took away one of my friend’s rice because it wasn’t part of their meal. I have never seen that before. They seriously need new servers or a better training system.

This place stood out for the warm hospitality of the very friendly owner. The prices were reasonable, and the food was quite good. Parking was a bit challenging, but the location allowed for exploring the surrounding area after the meal, which was nice. The restaurant also operates another branch on the same street, so I recommend checking out the other location as well. After the meal, I was able to pick up some essentials at a small Korean grocery store nearby, which was convenient. I think I’ll visit again next time.

I stopped here for dinner, and it did not disappoint! The food came out quickly and it was hot! I ordered kimchi soup and kimchi fried rice! The food was perfectly seasoned! I really enjoyed the sides provided. The kimchi overall was good!

The waitress was nice and answered all my questions. There was a sit down menu and a take out menu which I thought was cool! I'd recommend to anyone looking for some good soul touching korean food!
