I love the food here , yes it’s pricy but it’s worth it ! 😋 anyways after my 50th time coming here I noticed a SERVICE FEE!!and your not told about it BUT look at YOUR receipt! & What actually surprises me is that it applies for a party of 2 !!!!! & usually other places do it for party’s of 5+ or more.. anyways I was tipping $6 to 10$ every time on top of the service fee !!!! Ahaha but not anymore lol
Tried the tamales and a couple of tacos as take-out. Tacos were good, didn't skimp on the carnitas, otherwise it's kind of hard to mess up a taco. The tamales were almost great - they were big, the masa was nice and moist the whole way through, and the meat (both chicken and pork) was flavorful. Unfortunately, they were spoiled a bit by the inclusion of giant pieces of potato and a hefty scoop of Veg-All - cube carrots, peas and corn. I'm not opposed to the idea...
Got the bandeja with an extra pupusa. Probably the best Central American food I’ve ever had and I used to live in a Salvadoran neighborhood in LA. Everything seasoned and cooked perfectly, you can tell they put a lot of love into it which is rare these days. Service couldn’t be nicer. Will be back next time I’m in the area.
