The food is about as close to TexMex as you can get. The lady who served us was amazing and very polite. The food came out quick. It was delicious and we got to people watch while we were sitting near the sidewalk Broadway.

Literally my favorite Mexican spot in Seattle. I’m originally from TX and it definitely reminds me of tex-mex spots back home. Staff is always SO sweet, always recommend to all my friends.

My partner and I have to keep ourselves from eating here every night. I love to sit in the patio, everyone who works and owns the restaurant is incredibly kind & personable.

My favorite thing to order is the half chicken with rice and beans- I’m a simple gal, the complimentary chips and salsa is something I regularly crave.

The food is always delicious- the service is always fast. My partner and I regularly spilt an entree here, get a few drinks and the bill is usually around 40-45$.

Easily my favorite weeknight/ happy hour/ late night dinner spot/ favorite spot in Capitol Hill.

I accidentally found myself at La Cocina & Cantina while heading to another spot—but the vibrant vibe and inviting decor pulled me in.

The vegetarian options are quite limited, so I went with the chile rellenos. For $22, the portion size was generous and came with flavorful sides of rice and beans. While it wasn’t the best chile relleno I’ve ever had, it definitely hit the spot.

The place has a chill, laid-back atmosphere—exactly what you’d hope for in a lively Mexican joint.

Worth a visit? Definitely! It’s a great spot to catch up with friends.
Cost? Pretty pocket-friendly for what you get.

Oh, and don’t miss the complimentary chips with two types of salsa—both were a hit!

Great place to go watch the game and have a pleasant meal. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, this is definitely not the place. The bartenders are really cool and the staff is also very pleasant and they do create a great atmosphere.

I have gone here ever since I’ve moved to Seattle in 2019. Quite literally, this is the first restaurant I ever went to. Over the years, not only is it the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, but it has become another home for me. Over the years I’ve brought my closest friends and family here. I’ve been here so many times here by myself because it’s my go to place when I’m in a bad time. Quite literally, I came here for a solo date by myself once, and I was at my lowest. My mood didn’t seem obvious to me, but when I got there, the waitresses who I’ve always known gave me a hug. Somehow they just knew. As if I was dedicated to this place enough. And now, years later—they always remember me. They always treat me so well, and ask how I am doing. I will bring anyone special in my life here, and this will always be my go-to spot for a solo date as well. I love their food, their margaritas (the best in Seattle!!!), but most of all the service. It can never be beat.
