On the Mexican food spectrum, this is toward the more authentic and quality end. Hand-made fresh tortillas and quite delicious entrees. Not a lot of veggie options but you can get by if you're not a meat or cheese eater. The staff was attentive and friendly plus helpful. They had some South American football games on the TVs.
A nice outdoor patio , and a small self-serve salsa bar make the place distinctive. Nothing fancy but nice for a date or family dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised that the mole I had tasted just like my Oaxacan mother makes it!! The rice was perfect, tortillas were fresh, and the salsas were flavorful. My husband had the lamb birria and the flavors were amazing. A definite must try if you're around the area!

As a Mexican that doesn’t frequent Mexican spots, I must tell you this is a very legit Mexican restaurant! The tlayuda was absolutely exceptional, tastes like Oaxaca. Taste is 11/10. Try it, you won’t regret it!
