We love the Ballard Farmers Market, though it's been a couple of years since our last visit. We love that it happens year round. We love the amount of vendors and their creativity and passion for their crafts. The space is great, as it's in the heart of Ballard. Parking can be a challenge, but it's easily accessible by bus, bicycle and pedestrian friendly - streets for blocks are closed to traffic for the market. We loved looking at the fresh flowers, artwork in a diversity of media, and tasty food galore. We were reminded of the greatness of this market on a warm sunny day and look forward to more visits as the spring and summer rear their heads.

It was my first time here at Ballard Farmers Market. My family had a great time exploring the different local vendors. My only issue is the parking. We found a parking lot that was open to the public. However, the signs were misleading saying that you had to pay but the ticket machine was not working. It was only after walking a few minutes up the hill to the Farmers Market we found a side street with more parking options.

Definitely a must visit if you're into Farmers Markets. It's probably the biggest I've been to. I haven't been to this one in years. In the past parking was never an issue but this time around I had to pay for public parking ($9 for 1-2 hours) at Hotel Ballard. I feel like Seattle is getting more crowded.

I arrived at the market on a drizzling rainy day, and it was a great winter outdoor activity when you want to get out for a nice stroll. Parking was easy to find as the market wasn't packed. It was easy to walk around and look at stalls at your own pace. There were lots of vendors with great varieties of food, flowers, produces and handmade products, you can spend around 1 to 3 hours here browsing. The vendors I interacted with were nice and helpful. There was a street performer playing music. The colorful flowers, produce and the good food lifted my mood up on a gloomy day. The price is fair for the quality of products they provide, the food stall was fairly priced and smells amazing.

Such an amazing Farmers Market. We were visiting my son and his girlfriend who live in Ballard, and they brought us here. We had amazing food, and bought a beautiful chili wreath. Lots of people and dogs walking around and everyone was so friendly. Great vibes all around. Highly recommend and a wonderful experience for us!! Can't wait to come back and visit again!!

Absolutely in loved with this farmer's market and excited by how big it was! So many wonderful local farms and vendors with delicious eats and fresh produce. We came for the first time in October and the leaves changing color and falling were so pretty in this area, pair it with the gorgeous flowers for sale and it makes for a very picturesque market. This market gets pretty busy and lots of pups here too! I had a sausage breakfast sandwich which was stellar, chowder, and I've purchased sourdough bread from both Salmonberry and The Cottage both amazing bakers. Highly recommend checking out this market, if you're in the area!

My favorite place to grab a crepe. From the service to the portion. I always order the Nutella and banana crepe. It's such a treat and made with good vibes! So delicious!

This is the biggest of the Seattle farmers markets (besides maybe the Fremont one, but that one is less a farmers market and more just a general street market, more focused on clothes and food trucks) The Ballard market has a good spread of produce vendors, food vendors, and other foodstuffs (honey, sauces, pickles, etc). It's a great spot to check out with a friend and wander around at with a snack / breakfast. It gets pretty packed so parking might be slow, though still doable.

Sooo much fresh fruits and veg. The $3 bunches of beets looked so good. Love the $10 bunch of Dahlias. Got some Pie Bird slices- peach blueberry, Horchata, Strawberry Nectarine, Apricot Crumble, and Black Sesame. Delish hot breakfast corn dog! Too bad the shops along the market don't open until 10.

This is my favorite farmers market in the area and one that I frequent often! If you don't like crowds, definitely go early (as soon as possible after 9:00 a.m.). Otherwise, it is hard to see the stalls and get what you need. I feel like this market has gained popularity in the last few years so it is way more crowded than it used to be. Fortunately, they are expanding the space to one more block, which is great! Great variety of produce/eggs/raw meat, prepared foods (to consume while there), flowers, and then other goods like soap, earrings, pottery, etc. It all depends what you are seeking but some fave vendors for me are: - Spring Rain Farms (produce) - Kirsop Farms (produce) - Foothills Farm (produce) - Sno-Valley Mushrooms (literally just mushrooms but so good) - For bakeries, Salmonberry Goods, and the oat porridge loaf from The Cottage - Lia's Garden for flowers - Geni's Ethiopian for prepared Ethiopian food, Seattle Pops if it's a hot day All the other vendors are great too - depends what you are in the mood for :)

I'm here almost every Sunday. It's the biggest farmers market I believe in the Seattle area (please correct me if I'm wrong) and they have a very nice selection from food, produce and other lovely little local, small market things you expect to see. It has the best location in the Ballard Market area and it's hard to miss. Plan on not leaving empty handed. The crepe spot is a recommendation!

I am a farmers market fiend and this is one of the best I've ever been to!!! So magical, I wish I could teleport here every Sunday. Not sure about parking, but it gets pretty crowded so i imagine parking is insane. I took the bus in every time and had no problems! The farmers market is huge and offers a wide variety of local treats - baked goods, produce, lotions, jewelry, art, knife sharpening, grab and go meals, and more! I went during the summer, and it was such a treat to buy fresh Rainier cherries so close to where they are grown. There are plenty of shaded areas from all the tents so even in the Summer it was not overbearingly hot and sun-burny like some markets. We got some treats and walked the half mile to the garden by the locks to enjoy the treats in some shady park-ish areas, rather than in the farmers market hustle and bustle. Like all farmers market, it can be pretty expensive. All of the vendors I interacted with accepted card,

I love love love the Ballard Farmers Market. I drive all the way from Everett to shop. The one stand that always brings me back is DoReMiFaSoap, so be sure to check them out.

It closes way too early. I hope it stays open later in the fall when the afternoons aren't so hot. I also walked the entire length of the market without seeing a trash can. Gross. Do better, Ballard. Otherwise, the food booths are great and the crafts are magical.

This market is absolutely captivating. The sheer size and liveliness of it all is invigorating. You'll come across an abundance of fresh seasonal produce, an array of delightful food stalls, charming flower shops, artisanal craft stalls, and countless other food-related vendors. Just be sure to plan ahead for parking, as it can be a bit of a challenge. Personally, I love to peruse the market, picking up fresh seasonal produce and treating myself to a gorgeous bouquet of in-season flowers before settling down for a delicious meal. Even if you don't make any purchases, taking a stroll through the market is an enjoyable experience in itself. I cannot recommend this farmer's market highly enough.
