This farmer's market made me want to move to Ballard! You can tell it is quite popular for the lack of parking spots down the main road. But it is so worth it to pay for parking should you need to. We paid $4 for our spot for an hour near the hardware store. My favorite thing to do on Sundays is enjoy food shopping and this experience was unforgettable. It also partly a puppy play date central. Every Sunday, I have the pleasure of spending my mid-morning strolling the stalls of the Ballard Farmers Street Market. If there was something that really defines what it means to live in Seattle, it's access to folks showing off their crafts. From farmers who bring their finest vegetables and fruits, to the folks that make fine jewelry, to those who pickle, dehydrate, cook, blend, or bake, it's a slice of what makes Seattle wonderful. One of the best Farmers Markets that I've been to! They have a wide variety of vendors, it's not overwhelming but there are SO many options so you can just walk around until you find what fits your buying interest! I love that they also have many categories of goods including jewelry, self care (handmade bar soap/sprays/oils, etc), leather goods, arts and crafts.
