Caffe Umbria Reviews
This is a cute coffee shop with vegan baked goods options and a vegan breakfast sandwich. Great space to sit and relax. Family and kid friendly with toys and books!

The spot is quite good for a pick-me-up. Although the weekend seating can be limited since the tables and upholstered areas get taken up, which leaves only the high-top and standing tables. The chandelier above the community table / lounge area still has cobwebs [from my last visit] and now a burnt out bulb, which is cool for a Halloween theme.
Went in for a latte but was disappointed. The milk foam was lacking, and there was no latte art despite dining in. It also tasted weak—maybe not enough espresso? Not the best experience.

Caffe Umbria is a renowned coffee chain in Seattle, with an exceptional Ballard location. The staff provides outstanding service, even during busy hours, in a welcoming and sophisticated cafe with a classy, European-inspired ambiance. Customers can enjoy a wide variety of delicious coffee drinks, such as a flavorful cafe mocha with an extra espresso shot, at a reasonable price. The cafe also offers a decent breakfast menu and sparkling water and wine options. While the music plays at a reasonable volume, creating a nice spot to work or chat, the cafe lacks noise dampening in the ceiling. The service is always friendly, and customers have praised the knowledge of the baristas, who are willing to provide information about the coffee blends. However, the cafe no longer offers alternative brewing methods like French press or pour-over. Overall, Caffe Umbria is a satisfying destination for coffee connoisseurs, even those with high standards.
