This place is a hidden gem. The menu is simple and unique, but every dish we tried was outstanding. For out-of-towners: it's located in Belltown, just a short walk from Pike Place Market and downtown Seattle. Street parking is your best bet. Our server, Christian, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We came on a Wednesday night and wish we'd gotten the bartender's name—he made an excellent gin martini. Lovely courtyard dining, which was great. The service was quick, orders taken for drinks and food. We had the risotto and the pollo masala both of which came out of the kitchen very quickly, so I'm guessing they have it all prepared and just heat it up. The food was ok, but nothing I would go back for and quite expensive for some heated up risotto and chicken with spaghetti. For us the portions were too much and didn't have a dessert. Would recommend the Love potion...
The food was amazing! We had 6 different dishes at our table and from chicken Marsala to a smoked salmon squid ink linguine, there were rave reviews all around. Service was also wonderful. Wanted to sit outside by the fountain but wound up indoors. Ambience was still lovely, and maybe better. Belltown isn't the greatest neighborhood, so outdoors will always include sirens, etc. we enjoyed our experience and appreciated the kindness of all staff.
