Service was friendly, but slow. The appetizer portions were small for the price, which felt disappointing. The pastas were cooked al dente and flavorful, but the restaurant had no air conditioning, so it was uncomfortably hot inside. They also charge a mandatory 18% gratuity for all party sizes, which should be made clearer upfront.
This was my favorite place I’ve ever been to in Seattle. The atmosphere felt like southern Italy. The service was amazing. The food was thoughtful. The space is magical and I can tell the owner has poured their heart and creativity into every inch of the space. I’m so happy to have found you.
The Spanish sardines were excellent. Classic simple preparation, great taste, great value. I had a medely of lamb, which was good, but not quite what I was hoping for. My wife had a calamari pasta dish, again good but the tomatoe sauce was a little thin. The real test would we go back, yes.
