Absolutely a hidden gem. Banh mi is 6 dollars and the meat is so tender. It is a place where they specialize on Banh mi and I think they bake their own bread, so more people visit there better it gets. Quantity and quality of banh mi is great. Highly recommended.One more, buy 5 Banh mi get 1 more for free. Great for group buy.
I'm glad I gave this place a second try. The first time we tried trying this place, we saw they were a bit backed up but had no line. However, we stood there 10 minutes and the cashier ignored us. Eventually they came over and asked what we wanted and then told us they were sold out of banh mi bread and had to make more and it would be another 30+ min. Very unassuming place that isn't very decorated or comfortable. Aside from that, the combination banh mi was good. What I appreciate: the amount of filling, the priceWhat needed work: the bread was not fresh, the sandwich would've benefitted greatly with a little Maggi or fish sauceI would go again based solely on the food-to-price ratio and their delicious pate chaud pastry from the bakery.
