The pastries were a bit overdone and tough, but overall acceptable. Solid basic breakfast sandwich. A pleasant place. Wouldn't go out of my way, but will stop by again if I find myself in Fremont. 3.5 stars.

The best Bakery for vegans. Plenty of vegetarian options. Acai bowls, smoothies are available too. The people working here are very polite.

Although they look great from the window, the croissants are dense, crunchy on the outside, and barely cooked on the inside. Truly disappointing and a bit confusing because their danish pastry was perfectly fine. Their bathroom was also disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.

I was trepidatious about the new owners because I loved the former Lazy Cow so much. I had nothing to worry about! They have a larger menu (though RIP the previous sandwiches), more pastries that are just as delicious as before, more hours, better seating, and are better stocked. I do miss contributing to the community fund, activist space, and the free pantry, but hopefully those things come back. Overall, Lazy Cow is great and the owners are so kind.

New owners are great and the pastries are just as good if not better! Better hours and seating options too. Also they don’t run out of pastries anymore.

Used to absolutely love this place, but sadly since the new ownership (I’m assuming) it has been completely gone down hill. The pastries which used to be moist and very delicious especially for vegan baking, but now almost all the croissants I had tried in the past week are dry and super dense. Also I know it may be a bit much to complain about decorative choices but the old look was so much more satisfying and quaint, it seems now the business is going for uniformity and “modern” looking establishment but has lost most if not the soul that was somewhat there. From the weird change of paint to the overall loss of the quality from the coffee to the cakes, I would not at all recommend this place which was very easily recommendable before, and I am very sad to honestly lose another vegan bakery and also a social gathering space which it was very accommodating from what I had seen and I enjoyed going to a few of their events when they still allowed! To conclude, this place was a gem now I’d say it’s a waste of time and money.

This is my favorite bakery in Fremont! The breakfast sandwiches with the jalepeno jelly and the almond croissants keep me coming back.

Under the new ownership, the quality has gone way down, and the price has shot way up. They do have a lot more variety and the service is still great, but the food has gotten bad. Not worth it. There's better vegan pastries at PCC down the st .

Dropped by Lazy Cow Bakery in the Fremont section of Seattle yesterday for the first time. We were looking forward to trying their baked goods and they did not disappoint. We ordered the Pain au Chocolat, and Almond Croissants. Both were warm with a melty creamy center and super flaky crust. Perfect accompaniment to a warm, frothy latte!

I love that this is not only a cute vegan place but a safe haven for the community around at large. They have a food pantry and other resources.

Tried tiramisu takeaway and it was quite delicious. Creamy and very full of coffee flavor, not too cakey. Love that this place will do a free meal once a week and has a community microwave for public use.

Was a bit disappointing for baked goods.
I really love what they’re doing with community events, community potlucks, being inclusive and welcoming,
love what they're about! But we drove quite a ways out of our way for the bakery and it was just okay. Ordered an almond croissant that was a little stale, and a mini sponge cake that was suppose to be "peach compote" but I didn't taste any peaches. The space is a bit dark. It was alright, next time I might try the sandwiches rather than the baked goods.
