Everything was delicious! We love to look for French bakeries when we're in big cities and Le Fournil did not disappoint. We tried the quiche, a sandwich and a couple types of pastries as well as the coffee. Everything was great. There's a parking garage that had plenty of space. It's a narrow entry right by the flower shop.

Best French bakery in Seattle!

Underwhelming and very expensive for what you get. I have been to many other French bakeries that are better.

Review for croissants only. Got two different types of their croissants. I don’t understand how anyone said these are the best in town, they are similar to cheap Walmart croissants. No flakiness, kind of gummy consistency, the chocolate is too sweet and cheap, no semblance of a french croissant at all.

Oh my God, this is a tucked away gem a great place to get delicious pastries or a sandwich on homade bread!!

As a French national leaving in Seattle for 10+ years, I have toured all bakeries in the area. Le Fournil has the best pastries, their mille-feuille and their chocolate tarts are just the best you can get. In fact, living on the east side, we indeed drive 40 minutes regularly to get them. They also have the most reasonable prices (by far) given the quality of their products. If you feel like a french treat, or if you just want to be in heaven from the first bite, just head over there right now.

Le Fournil’s chocolate cake is not just good—it’s exceptional. Treat yourself, share it with loved ones, or keep it all to yourself. Either way, you’ll be transported to a little corner of France right here in Seattle.Bon appétit! ???

Used to come here all of the time until I got sick from the lunch. Since then I stop by every so often and grab some sweets but the quality of service, atmosphere, and food have declined and have overall made my rating of Le Fournil drop from a once five to now a two at best.

We have been customers at this wonderful French bakery for years. They make the most delicious and scrumptious French pastries we have found in Seattle! Once you go to Le Fournil you will be going back again and again!
What an incredible find!!!! This bakery is simply wonderful. The service is excellent, the pastries make my mouth water, and the coffee ☕️ keeps up. They have breakfast sandwiches, pastries, desserts, Salads, cookies- everything needed for a quick bite of any kind. I am so happy to have moved nearby so I can add this bakery to my morning routine!!!

I've been going to Le Fournil for years - and loved it. Yesterday on our way out of town we picked up a few plain croissants for the road. We were shocked at what we received. These were of such poor quality that I did not take more than a couple of bites. The only way I can describe them is that they were something like you might find in a bakery in a very low quality grocery store. what happened??? Very disappointing. Not sure I'll risk going again.

Around 11am on a weekday the non-refrigerated pastry case was getting pretty empty, I had about 4-5 different options (croissant, chocolate croissant, raisin croissant/roll). I got the raisin croissant/roll (4/5 stars), which was much better that it looked: fresh and flakey. I didn't love the gooey center, I saw a few bits of gelatin and maybe some yellow custard (or egg wash?). The coconut macaron (4/5 stars, not a macaroon) was also good. It had a subtle coconut scent and strong coconut flavor.

I love their pate sandwich. Last time I was there I had a cream puff. It was pretty yummy. Wish I had one now.
