Went for my sister’s birthday dinner with a group of 10, including my 6yo, sat out on back patio; staff was so accommodating and kind to him and the whole group. Above and beyond customer service. Food and drinks (alcoholic and non) were amazing, we ordered one of everything family style, would highly recommend!

We had weekend brunch and the food was amazing, especially the cubano! We were surprised the restaurant was not fully occupied the entire time we were there (12p-1p). I don’t usually write reviews, but this place is so good , we want more people to visit so they can stay in business.

Highlights: cubano, coconut green, the house hot sauce.

This is one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in Seattle. The empanadas, seared halibut and sauces were the highlights. This restaurant is pricier but I thought it was worth every penny.
The cocktails and servers were wonderful as well.

Ingredients are very fresh and the food is very flavorful without being overly salted or overly seasoned and the cocktails are fun!

Cozy getaway that feels like a hole in the wall cantina hidden in an old Havana alleyway. As soon as you walk in you are treated like a regular. I finished my glass of water and before I had a second thought, it was immediately refilled. Then, let’s talk about the food and drinks. Both excellent. Highly recommend the plantain stuffed with beef. Rain or shine, I will denizen again to have a Cuban escape in the PNW. Highly recommend.

Food is okay, but just a heads up — they automatically add a 20% mandatory service fee after tax.

Food tastes good but this restaurant should not be marketed as Cuban/Puertorrican if the authentic dishes being served are not even close to the real deal. I definitely think if you’ve never been to Puerto Rico and have no expectations on what the cuisine is like, this food would be pretty good. However, if you’re like me and have been feeling a bit homesick, this place will NOT satisfy your palate. I think it would be unkind of me to discuss ALL the ways the different plates showcased in the current menu got it wrong but I do think there are three very major things regarding the flavor/ingredients used that feel very important when marketing this as boricua.
1. The mofongo used ripe plantains instead of the traditional green plantain. The criollo sauce for the shrimp was also deeply missing the sofritoness.
2. The rice and beans are charged separately (back home this is a two in one deal, no questions asked. sometimes you even have to ask for no beans because it’s automatically assumed you will eat them together) and the beans lacked its classic taste.
3. The mayoketchup had fruit notes in its flavor profile (?) when all it should contain is mayonnaise, ketchup, and garlic. if you want to go crazy with it, blend the garlic to a paste in a food processor with cilantro and oregano.

Besides these things, we were told the plates were sharing size and that was painfully incorrect. Regarding atmosphere, the environment also lacked the carribean feel. Instead of playing soft rock in english let’s integrate una salsita o una bachatita. acho ponte bad bunny!!

This restaurant felt like the equivalent of a gringo opening a puertorrican fusion restaurant in Rincon and trying to pull it off as authentic. (Alexa, play lo que paso en hawaii).

I will say one very positive thing, our discontent definitely didnt go unnoticed and we got two free desserts from it. The flan and the tres leches.

I definitely think it will be important for this restaurant to sit with their menu and assess if their current recipes truly reflect the flavor profile of carribean food. I strongly encourage getting feedback from people that have specially grown up in the region.

I truly do hope the notes made in this review are taken seriously to improve and better rePResent us around the world.

I’ve been going since they opened and the food is excellent every time. Literally every item on the menu is fantastic, but the Lechon in particular stands out.

The service is always awesome. They have the vibe of a trendy neighborhood spot and the execution of an award winning restaurant.

Also don’t sleep on their drinks 👀

Loved this place! I worked in San Juan, Puerto Rico for a few months and the vibe of this restaurant from the music, drinks, and food were all there.

I would recommend this place for its offerings, but I feel that the prices are somewhat higher than what would be expected for the food and service provided. It might be worth considering adjusting the pricing to better match the overall experience.

The service at this restaurant is excellent and the staff are very friendly. We ordered Alcapurrias to start with which were incredible (we ended up ordering a second portion!) and a Pollo Al Carbon which we didn’t like as it looked a little too pink and too salty, but they took care of that one for us, which was nice. Overall had a great experience and will back next time we’re in Seattle!

Love the food here! It was very different but the rice was too good! Went there to celebrate my birthday with few friends and the staff were too kind to give us free shots and champagne.

The flan deserves a special mention! It was too good and a perfect ending to the meal.

Went here before the Storm game and enjoyed a delicious family style dinner. We got the Alcapurria, Lechón, maduros, and habichuelas. Want to come back and try the Pollo Carbon

“It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and we had a nice experience. We were the last reservation of the night and arrived a bit late, but the server still accommodated us with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

As for the food, most of the dishes impressed me, and the portions were generous enough to share between 2-3 people. Their cocktails were also very good.

My favorite dish was the ropa vieja—it was seasoned beautifully, and the brisket was especially tender. I highly recommend trying it!
