Oxtail meal for the price was mostly bones and fat. Mac and cheese was amazing.

The best burnt ends I’ve ever had!! Fantastic pork ribs & Greens! Would not go anywhere else in Seattle for BBQ
this place is great get the burnt ends
I walk inside and immediately to my left there is a Bob Marley tribute on the wall, okay I am in the right place! The kindest cashier, Kobe takes my order while managing phone orders coming in. It's a busy Saturday at Lil Red's and I can see why. The Jamaican beef pattie has flavors outta this world and the rnb / soul music is enough to keep you entertained while you wait for your food! The crust is buttery and flaky and the beef is fresh and hot just how I like it. The ginger drink is good for a nice summer day in Seattle but a little too sour for me. If you get it and mix it with the lemonade for the vendor outside, JJ Kasoy, it will be the perfect fusion. Next time I will get Soulfood from Lil Red's but you cannot go wrong with the Jamaican patties!

Unreal Jamican/BBQ!!! Nice workers/owner. I absolutely loved this place. Big portions and good prices for BBQ. I will definitely be returning and spreading the good word about lil Red's. Don't forget - the BBQ sauce and jerk sauce were off the charts. Well done, guys. This place is the truth - top tier 👌.

Absolute warm service from a staff that treats you like family. We ordered ribs and sides for a party of 8-10 on a holiday and they were able to accommodate it AND We got the large order within 30-40 min which is impressive. We dined outside the next day (because the food is GOOD) and the staff even offered us some banana pudding which was super flavorful. I wish I had pictures but we were too busy eating it to take pics so take that as you will. We had the chicken and waffles (10/10) and breakfast sandwich. My only note is that the biscuit on the breakfast sandwich falls apart quickly so I had to make a scramble of it.
Will definitely be bringing others to this gem of a place. It’s like being outside of Seattle at a family reunion back home. They get packed though, so be patient. The food is worth it.
My brother was in the mood for jerk chicken, and so we dropped in for some great food. I ordered some pulled pork sliders but received the pulled pork meal, which I really enjoyed. The garlic mashed potatoes were savory, the cole slaw was a little dry but good, and the cornbread was tiny but also very good. My brother had the oxtail, with garlic mashed potatoes and some greens that he enjoyed. Some sides we had were the jerk pork that were to die for, and some red beans n rice that were tasty. The banana pudding was to die for, I almost ordered another, but I was so stuffed.

Food was horrible as a person from down south that loves Caribbean food this was pure lousy food point blank period. My jerk chicken literally had no color my beans and rice tasted rancid as if it was sitting in a warmer all day which brings me to my next complaint of how unfresh the food was my order was literally ready in 5 minutes

I really don't know if it was an off day, but my food was horrible. It ended up in the garbage and toilet. They were out of curry chicken, oxtail, etc. etc. and it was only after 4. Ok no problem. I got the burnt ends, poured bbq sauce on it and was only able to eat 1 piece. The Rice and peas had no flavor, I have no idea what kind of Mac and cheese that was, and the cornbread I had to spit out instantly. I was soooo upset. For the $$ they charge, it was a HUGE disappointment. I'll try one more time but hmmm I just don't know. Ohhhh And I know what caribbean food/good food is supposed to take like and I've been to yaard before.

Nice little local joint. Don't be ready to sit down. Full staff was very nice and the food was plentiful. Ribs and brisket were OK,. I don't know why I didn't get the jerk chicken, I will for sure next time.

This place wasn’t worth the price for me. I ordered the jerk chicken plate and the chicken was still bloody on the inside. The Mac n cheese was very good though. Overall, it just wasn’t a pleasant experience for me.

I had ordered a pulled pork sandwich, Jamaican patties with a side of yams and mac & cheese. The first thing I noticed that there weren't any actual Jamaicans running that hoe so I instantly thought it was gonna be trash. The yams were tangy and bland, no sweetness or anything. The pulled pork sandwich was cold. The mac & cheese was more of a pasta texture than actual mac & cheese. I disliked it. I'm a huge fan of mac & cheese, but that was not it. The Jamaican patties were the only thing that was great.
Overall the customer service was great.
