I typically love Linda’s but had a bad experience last night for my birthday party. A group of us walked up to the door but before we even got to say hi the door person looked us up and down and gave us the nastiest, most disgusted and judgmental look. No idea what prompted that but it definitely soured my mood.
I understand not wanting to deal with larger groups, but it’s a bar where you seat yourself and all they had to do was check our IDs. We weren’t being rowdy or annoying, so I’m just puzzled and disappointed with the stank attitude.
I know a dirty look doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it made us feel unwelcome and judged, when we didn’t do anything wrong. It made me want to leave

Jinx our server every time is amazing. This is THE dive bar spot in Capitol Hill. I always come for my birthday and the happy hour is great. Shoutout to everyone there it’s such a good vibe! And they have a patio in the warm months!
