An unassuming and charming place to share a meal in the U District. The dumplings are a must try. The food understated and authentic and just what we needed after a day of travel, and the service was warm and welcoming. We will be back.
This place is an absolute recommend if you’re looking for authentic Chinese dishes. The wood mushrooms with black vinegar were a crunchy starter and very refreshing. I also ordered the twice cooked pork which was sweet, sour, crispy, and absolutely divine. For dessert, their sweet rice dumpling soup was soft and comforting. Overall the service was excellent, food tasted fresh, and the portions are perfect to share with friends or family!
Food is quite decent and generous portions for the price.
Definitely a plus they have parking here.
Service wasn't bad in the usual sense, but the guy working the counter seemed like he was maybe family filling in or something, it just seemed like he never worked at a restaurant before.
