The Lost Lake Cafe and Lounge is conveniently located in the Pike and Pine neighborhood and opens early for breakfast so it's a great place to start your day if you need to run errands in that vicinity. The food and service are great but for us it was the well broken in, well established with the exact amount of earned shabby for that neighborhood. OLD: Do not get the burgers. They do amazing breakfast food and their specials are on point but twice I’ve ordered a late night burger after several beers. The toppings are fresh and crisp, the bun is so perfectly toasted every time but residing in there is a hard and dry burnt hockey puck that was frozen not minutes before. I really enjoyed that this diner had its own Pacific Northwest personally in terms of decor and ambience, while retaining the classic diner experience.
The portions are very generous! We shared a big main and a side of tater tots (huge) between two and we were so full by the end.
Everything was very tasty and the staff was so friendly (recommended the special enchiladas)
