The tlacoyo dough came out raw and terrible. Customer service was very bad. They don't want to serve people.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The service is incredible, always so friendly, giving out samples and giving out information about the foods. This place is authentic with food made with ingredients strait from Oaxaca. The ambiance is beautiful. It is very colorful and decorative. It’s right next to the original Starbucks so it is very busy. Their tacos and tamales are my favorite. I will say the food can feel a little heavy. This place is definitely worth a try to at least go once.
The best Mexican food I've had in years! Nothing in Vancouver is this good.

I had the Tlacoyos. The freshness of the corn definitely stands out, and took me back to the food I've had in Mexico. Everything is made to order. It cost me 20 for the plate of Tlacoyos, which was a little pricey for counter service food and the quantity. I would also love the option of choosing which salsa to have on the side with my meal, a salsa macha would have been delicious.

Had the Birria Gordita. The Gordita is made fresh to order and Birria was tender with good flavor with some refried beans, lettuce, pickled onions and some creama and a sprinkle of cheese to top it off. Left full.

The taco gisos have no flavor, I ordered pastor and carnitas, the carnitas were what left me with a bad taste in my mouth the most, they have no flavor. It is undoubtedly an expensive place (it attracts tourists). It's not authentic Mexican food!!!

$16 for two tamales and beans. It was good, but definitely not worth the price. Maybe it's a Pike Place tourist trap markup.
