“The chocolate cake is so delicious...and available by the slice. My usual purchase is a slice of leek and gruyere quiche, or quiche Lorraine, but you need to get to the bakery early as the quiches sell out quickly. The hot coffee mocha is mighty fine, too.“

“This was my mom's and I’s last cafe hop in Seattle before leaving, and it was worth it! We arrived right when it opened due to our flight. I unfortunately did not get anything; however, my mom ordered a hot decaf Americano and it was love at first sight. She said it was VERY good, and she was sad we didn’t come sooner because its very close to the place we stayed at. It was so good that we decided to buy four coffee bags! (we turned around the second we left😅👀). I recommend it–its very close to the transit station.

Overall, the experience was cosy and vibey–please try it out if you are in the area‼️“

“Macarons are a favorite food of mine. I’ve tried many macarons from many places. Those other macarons do not hold a candle to Lady Yum’s. Their macarons are actually on my top 10 list of favorite foods of all time. They make my soul happy. My husband picks me up some every time he travels to Seattle and although I miss him when he travels…I’m also kinda happy when he goes because he gets me treats from there.“

“Visiting this place was such a fun and unique experience! Watching robots make your coffee is something you don’t see every day. You can either order at the kiosk or pre-order using the Artly app on your phone, making it super convenient.

The coffee itself is surprisingly good! I tried the Chai Latte, which was made by a robot named Amanda. The robots Ponyo, Jarvis, Amanda are programmed to call your name, prepare your drink, greet you, and even introduce themselves. Despite the high-tech experience, the coffee prices are pretty standard.

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind coffee adventure, I definitely recommend checking this place out!“

“I was having an ass-crack morning. Running on 4 hours of sleep, bus was 20 minutes late, the looming threat of in-laws coming to stay at my house later that evening. I stumble into this place half awake, knowing I can count on their lattes and pastries to resurrect me enough to complete my wage-slave duties for the day. Through puffy eyes I see the barista look at me, her eyes widening. "Oh my gosh," she says, "you are, like, so pretty." I blink, unsure if I heard her correctly. "You're giving like, movie character energy right now." She proceeds to take my order, chatting with me the whole time. As she finishes my latte, she looks at it with admiration and says, "this looks sooo good." Hands me a steaming chive and cheddar scone and sends me on my merry way. Morning turned around. Day made. Stomach full. Caffeine entering my bloodstream. What more could you ask for on a Tuesday morning?“

“Cool cute coffee concept that is super convenient. Takes the same amount of time as a real person. I got the matcha and I knew it wasn’t going to whisk a fresh matcha but the matcha wasn’t bad. I did less sweet and it still had a good kick of sweetness. Good sweetener they used. Overall milky and okay, good experience if you never tried before!“

“4th Ave Espresso Bar is honestly one of my go-to spots whenever I’m in downtown Seattle. It’s inside the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, and it’s such a comfortable and welcoming place to grab coffee.

They serve Caffè Ladro, a local roastery from Queen Anne, and the coffee is always really good — smooth, strong, and consistent. Whether it’s a latte, cappuccino, or cold brew, everything tastes great every time.

Their pastries are also really solid. Fresh croissants, muffins, scones, cookies, breakfast sandwiches — a nice mix of items, and they’re always displayed nicely. It’s perfect whether you’re rushing to a meeting or just taking a minute to relax.

What keeps me coming back is the service. The staff is friendly, fast, and always in a good mood. They make you feel welcome right away, which is rare these days.

If you’re staying at the Fairmont or just walking by, it’s definitely worth stopping in. Great coffee, great team, and an all-around good vibe.“
