Nice bright space; friendly staff; great coffee and made to order sandwiches, salads and pasta; plus beer, wine & some groceries. I'd be in here all the time if I lived in the hood.
While visiting from Sacramento, my girlfriend and I decided to pop in to Mainstays on a whim. We got a cookie, drip coffee, iced tea, and two breakfast sandwiches.

This place was really, really good. A bit pricey, but it’s Seattle, so I get it. The staff was super friendly and sweet too.
