We attended the Dia de Los Muertos dinner event at Maiz Molino and this was also our first visit to Maiz. The experience was incredible. The dinner prepared by their guest chef was outstanding as well as different enough to want to change my way of eating Mexican food. Wine with tacos? Absolutely! Great ingredients, thoughtfully combined, balanced flavors, and proud decor in a casual, relaxed, family-run restaurant. The decor is a mix of open ductwork, plain tables, spectacular tiles, and Dia De Los Muertos figures. A good place for an unhurried meal (no sign of an "every second counts" clock in the kitchen), quiet conversation, and maybe some enjoyable chit-chat with the staff and other people around you.

The only bad thing about this place is that it's not closer to home! Came here on a whim & it did not disappoint. The brunch was fantastic! Wish I could eat here on a regular basis. Could not recommend this place more, 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
