One of our go to joints in the area. I'm not enthusiastic about the Coug fandom, but what are you gonna do.

Heard about this place from a co-worker. He told me to call the order in because it would take a while, so I did and he was right. I called it in and they said 20 min. Got there and it took another 25 min. Didn't like that. I ordered the 3 piece chicken with the mojos. The chicken is pressured cooked and fried. It was delicious, the mojos needed a bit more crunchiness for me but they were good. The establishment is actually a bar and they had a live band the day I went so it was kinda loud. I recommend take out instead of dining in but I did go on a Friday. Give it a try you won't regret it.
best chicken in the city! first time i came here i got the classic broasted chicken and was blown away. i had a bite of sweet bacon chicken sandwich and now its my go to order. the honey on it is DELICIOUS and truly the best chicken sandwich ive ever had. really, i have dreams about it. extra points for being a coug bar! always a fun atmosphere on game day.

Food was typical bar food with emphasis on fried food.Supposedly, they are famous for their fried chicken, but my group was only interested in apps. Had the fried potato wedges and mozzarella Stix. Both very good! Ordered a cup of chili, it also was nice but was a little too salty for me. The service was great! Stopping by to check on us literally every few minutes! Only downside is on a cold day you can't sit next to the windows and the rest of the dining room you'll need to keep your coat or jacket on the whole time. Will definitely visit there again, but on a warmer day! ?
