efficient ordering, rung up at the register just right, attentive to details, working hard and communicating well… plus the espresso bar lives up to the name ??? just wished i lived closer, darn. Chicken burrito (panini) was nice and light yet filling!!
What a gem in the Georgetown area. My office is located across the street of Espresso By Design, so we would walk here for a coffee anytime we come into office. Last Christmas my company got us all gift cards. Before that I'm guilty of not stopping by. Once you walk in, you'll have a Narnia moment. I was not expecting a whole shop, I thought it was one of those drive-up coffee stands. What a wonderful surprise. They have a HUGE menu, so take your time. What a nice hidden little spot. The barista (owner??) was working solo during the morning rush and doing an impressive job. I got a mocha and it’s great. Can’t wait for the little rooftop patio to open. Happy Spring!
