Local gem on all fronts - flavors, owner / staff, interior and vibes! I thought they permanently closed and my partner and I nearly had a melt down but glad to see they're still open and serving the Fremont neighborhood!

Best gelato in town hands down. Have been going for a while but last night we got to meet Chris, the owner, who comes up with the recipes. So fascinating! My partner is avoiding sugar but health reasons but based on his description for a bowl and didn't have any symptoms after! He wasn't trying to convince her, just answering some questions of mine. Turns out he comes up with the recipes and is coming out with a book! Can't wait for it Chris! Here's to the...

Marmalade doesn’t have hours listed because Christopher (the owner) says it closes with the sun. We were there until 9:30 and a whole new group of folks had come to sample the flavors and enjoy the experience that is a gelato or sorbette made from a pursuit of flavor.
These gelatos are minimal on the sugar- ask the owner and he’ll explain all the different ways he has extracted sugar from the ingredients to leave flavor and richness.
